Preschool Program

  • Join us for Preschool Play & Learn at the farm—a chance for little ones to slow down, explore, and learn through hands-on experiences in nature. Through nature walks, time with goats and rabbits, feeding chickens, digging in the garden, planting and tending their own plants, stories, and songs, children will connect what they learn with real-world experiences while building confidence, curiosity, responsibility, and friendships. Most importantly, they’ll have the freedom to enjoy the outdoors, learn at their own pace, and simply be kids.

  • Classes meet once a week for 6 weeks. There are Fall, Winter, and Spring Sessions, each a separate process from the others. When you sign up, you’ll choose the day of the week and time that you’ll attend each week. Classes will take place rain or shine—the barn provides protection from rain, but it is open-air, so please dress accordingly. You’re welcome to bring nut-free snacks or a picnic lunch to enjoy after class. Please note that preschool classes are not drop-off programs; a grown-up must stay with their child during class.

  • Class Pricing

    Classes meet once a week for 6 weeks, with a maximum of 35 kiddos per class. Choose your preferred class day and time when registering.

    • 1st student: $140 for all 6 weeks

    • 2nd student: $100 for all 6 weeks

    • 3rd student & additional students: $80 each for all 6 weeks

    Our curriculum is 100% created by the Shipshape Farm team and designed specifically for our farm classes.

Fall session

From September 1st- October 9th

Come experience the magic of fall on the farm! Our six-week fall session is filled with hands-on adventures, seasonal activities, and plenty of time to explore, play, and get a little dirty.

Each week brings something new—from planting and digging in the soil to exploring pumpkins, apples, farm animals, corn, and all the sights and smells of harvest season. We’ll meet the animals, discover what’s growing, make nature-inspired creations, enjoy simple farm activities, and celebrate the season together.

It’s six weeks of farm fun, fresh air, friendship, and fall memories for your little farmer!

Bundle up and join us for wintertime fun on the farm! Our six-week winter session is filled with cozy adventures, hands-on activities, and plenty of opportunities to explore the farm in a whole new season.

We’ll visit our wintering animals, discover what’s happening in the garden, look for signs of winter, play in the fresh air, make seasonal creations, and enjoy all the little surprises that come with farm life in winter.

It’s six weeks of fresh air, muddy boots, animal friends, cozy moments, and winter memories!

Spring Session

We loved our time at Shipshape Farm! Recommend it to all of my friends with little ones! It’s filled with music, story times, nature walks, crafts and trips to the garden! Plus time with the goats and chickens each week! We got to also watch baby chicks and ducks grow up over 6 weeks! The class is slow paced and perfect for toddlers that like to explore and take snack breaks! We will definitely be back!
